We've been wanting to do a Hexie Sew-A-Long for a long time. Well, now is the time. You might ask; how big is the finished quilt? what does the finished quilt look like; what colors are in the quilt; etc. etc. Sorry I don't know because my quilt is not done. It is a Sew-A-Long. I'll be designing and sewing along with you--I hope I can keep up!
I will tell you this- The quilt uses 5/8" Foltvilag Hexagon Templates--not too small, not too big, just the right size; We will use Japanese Taupe Fabrics; most months you will make three sets of hexagons with three rounds (look at the photo) you'll make three of these most months; each set of hexagons will be connected with a hexagon path; the finished hexagons will be appliquéd on a border; the borders will be embellished with appliqué; the finished quilt will be around 45-60"--just guessing.
The Sew-A-Long is an 11 month commitment! We will be charging your account (CC or PayPal) monthly for 11 months.
Please note this Sew-A-Long is a hand project. It is the perfect project to take with you in the car, at the doctor's office, at ball games or while you're watching TV. I can hardly wait to start.
