Beach-cation (Sewin' with my gull-friends)
Pack up your bikini, sunscreen and of course, sewing supplies and head to the Beach. That’s right, we are thrilled to host a Sewcation at the Grand Hotel in Ocean City, MD. The Grand Hotel is situated right on the ocean, so you can sew, stroll along the boardwalk, take off your shoes, walk in the sand, dip your toes in the ocean and go back and sew some more. The Grand Hotel has several restaurants on premise as well as gift shops for your convenience.
Beach-cation will begin on Monday, April 7, 2025 at 4:00pm and end on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at noon. The sewing room will be accessible 24 hours a day during those times. Each participant will receive one large 6’ table. We will provide cutting and ironing stations. A class will be taught to everyone during Beach-cation. (Kit fee TBD) The fee for this Sewcation is $150- cash and checks only please. Sorry no refunds. (Free Sewcations won in Sturbridge do not qualify for this Sewcation.) Your place will be guaranteed in the order checks (or cash) are received.
